The formal TOCFL test (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) will be administered on March 7 - 8, 2026.

Non-native speakers of Chinese are welcomed to participate in the test. The test seats are limited, don’t miss the chance!

In the meantime, TMU offers resources for learning Mandarin and preparing for the TOCFL test, including:

Incentives for TOCFL Participants
AY 114-2 application is Open!
Application Period: January 5 - June 21 (applicable to tests taken after August 2025)
Students may apply for full subsidy of the registration fee, and receive a bonus based on the level they achieve on the test.
