【Exchange】NPU 2026 Summer International Program

Nihon Pharmaceutical University (NPU) is offering summer exchange programs, including Program A (July 27–August 7) and Program B (August 17–August 28). Students from the College of Nutrition are welcome to join either or both programs. Please see the information below for more details.

NPU 2026 Summer Program will comprise with PG-A and PG-B as follows:

PG-A: 2026/07/27 - 08/07

PG-B: 2026/08/17 - 08/28

Two programs are unique from each other, but both cover the following subjects:

The current state of pharmaceutical education, healthcare, pharmacist practice in Japan. Distinctive aspects of Japanese culture

Plus, some local study tours to:

Nihondo Kampo Store and School (explore Kampo medicine, food and cosmetic)

Yomeishu Health Terrace Shibuya (experience of Japanese traditional health care)

Daiichi Sankyo Kusuri Museum (establish by a Japanese top pharmaceutical company)

Edo Tokyo Museum (a glance of the Japanese history)

All study tours will be with our guiders but move by the public traffics and fares at your own expenses.

Welcome you join us for any one, or even better for the both programs, because the interval between above program A and B that from August 8 to 16 is Japanese annually festival "obon", stay here and travel domestically where you are interested that will be a rare chance for you to find a passionate, colorful and hospitality Japan.

The Certificate of Completion (COC) will be issued to all participants.

Particularly, the COC for the participant of PG A+B will cover above duration of "obon", as a witness of your discovery for the folks and cultures.

The tuition is JPY30000/student for the participation of each one program (PG-A or PG-B).

The special price is JPY50000/student for the participation of both programs (PG-A with PG-B).

Pay by cash at your arrival in NPU.

For accompanying mentor or stuff: free of charge.

Above price is only for tuition, excluding anything else: airfares, traffics, stays, insurances, meals etc. are all at your own expenses.

The main venue of above programs is NPU Ochanomizu Campus (日本薬科大学・お茶の水キャンパス).

This campus is in the core of Tokyo, surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, hotels and entertainments, very easy to be accessed by public transports ( https://world.jorudan.co.jp/ ).

Kindly please be noted:

. Both programs are in-person and on-site only, NOT online.

. NPU will NOT arrange the accommodation for participants, please book the hotel and the flight all by yourself.

. NPU will help with the documents for your visa application if it is requested.

. Be sure to buy an insurance before you travel abroad.

. Free for you cancel your application but must inform us in advance.

. Bring your own digital devices into our classroom for interactivities during our lecturing, Wi-Fi is free and rapid.
